There Is Always Something When You Seek

Ever wonder why robbers always find a way to steal even if it is hard to imagine how they do it? Why do junk collectors  never ran out of junks that they can sell? Why do big time real estate agents always find a buyer even if the world is already full of houses? The answer is there is always something when you seek, the universe really never ran out of something to offer to us if we ask for it. My job is a freelance graphic designer for two years and I don’t know where will I get money every day. Good thing I am a very persevering individual and there was never a time that I didn’t earn money for at least a week. I don’t know if there is a magic behind it but the universe really conspire if there is something that you want so bad. When you want something and you really needed it the key for achieving that thing is don’t panic. Always stay calm and focus, an ordinary businessman will easily get panicked if his business is not getting enough profits but an extraordinary businessman, even if his pocket is almost empty will stay on his track and wait for his success. When searching for something always enjoy every single second and never get easily discourage if there are no signs of progress on what you are doing. Sometimes the thing that we are searching is very elusive and tricky. We didn’t even know that it is already in front of us but we never notice it.

Finish It Strong

As a motivator I also feel depressed sometimes it is normal because I am just a human being. I bet some motivators also do. For the 365 days of 2011 I admit I did not give my best everyday and that is why I established this blog to become more disciplined and serve as an example to other people. I have a big goal this 2011 and I still don’t know how to make it happen but I still have a feeling that it can happen. There is no plan B all I have to do is give all my strength and knowledge for the realization of that dream. For the last 34 days of this year starting now I will go for the last strongest blow. I know I will not fail if I will give my best, my very best. I know it’s not too late to make it happen, I will make no regrets for the mistakes I’ve made in the past, I will take baby steps but the fastest baby steps. Even if my life is the price to pay I will be happy doing it. There is no more turning back, no more rests, no more excuses. Tremendous focus and massive action for the goal, the timer starts now.

Every Pain Has Its Equivalent Reward

Are you suffering now because of your ambitions? Do you feel like giving up sooner or later? My advice is don’t give up because all the pain has an equivalent reward. Pain is temporary and victory is forever. The more pain and suffering you are getting means the closer you are for the realization of your dreams. Sometimes an athlete has to be injured before getting his goal. An aspiring businessman has to get bankrupt several times before succeeding. A politician has to face all the critics and dirty tactics that their enemies throw at them before getting triumphant. Yeah we sometimes wonder why do we have to suffer first before getting our dreams. Why can’t it be give right away so all of us will be happy? I think the answer to this question is: Glory will be given away to those people who really deserve it. It will be given away to those people who paid their dues and sacrifice their lives for their dreams.

Theresa has been driving for nearly 12 years. She is using her vintage F-150 to drive her two sons in their school. The classes of her son start at 7:30 A.M and dismisses at 3:30 P.M. Theresa is a single parent that is why she also took the responsibility of the duties of her ex-husband. Theresa was always being mocked by her elder son because she drives slowly. “Mom why do you drive so slow? Did grandma fell in love with the turtles when she was pregnant with you?” her elder son joked at her. “Yeah we have to wake up so early so you will have more time for driving to avoid being late in school, look at those vehicles mom they are overtaking us without respect” said her younger son. Theresa was not answering her children since they asked of this but this time she taught them a lesson. “Listen both of you, to be honest with you I am scared of driving but I have no choice because your father leaves us. I can be as fast as those cars that you’ve seen but I am taking care of our lives. I’ve been driving slowly for years but there was never a time that you two have been late. It doesn’t matter if we are the slowest vehicle as long as we are safe and you are not late” said Theresa. Her two sons did not say anything anymore. Few more minutes to be in school and they saw a blue car wrecked because of bumping the post. The children was scared about what they saw, they now understand why their mom is slow on driving.

Moral Lesson:
In life you don’t have to be the fastest in driving or in doing something. For as long as you keep focus and disciplined you can reach your destination no matter how slow the pace is.

Our lives will be based on what we are doing right now so if you are doing stupid and lazy things now don’t be surprised if your tomorrow will not have a good outcome.  Sometimes there will be a lot of tomorrows before we see the results that we are dying for, it really depend on how big our goals are, but if we keep on delaying what we are ought to do then those tomorrows will never end. Those tomorrows will give birth for another tomorrow until you are trapped in a vicious circle that never ends. If you do the right thing now then you will have a bright tomorrow, it simple means that our tomorrow depends on present.

Anyone Can Shine

James Norwood is a 37 year old professional basketball player. He spent his 12 year career sitting on the bench and backing up star players. There was even a time when he was not given a chance to play in a single game. James feels that his career is almost over and a little time is left before he stops playing. James’ 12 year old son is always cheering for him every single game even though his minutes on the court were very limited. Win or lose his son is always telling him these words: ”Dad you are the best player in the world”. This phrase has always makes James feel stronger and gives him the drive to continue to keep playing every single game.  One night when they are fighting for the last playoff spot, one of their starters was suddenly injured and cannot return back to the game. James was given the privilege to get his minutes and finish the game. The game was very intense and the score was very tight, both of the teams want to earn the last playoff berth so badly. When they reach the last 15 seconds of the ball game the score was tied at 85 apiece. James’ team has the last possession and they call their last timeout. Their coach instructed them to have James as the receiver from inbound and pass it to their star player. While their coach is giving them instructions he hear his son yelling “Dad take the last shot! You are the best player in the world!” James entertains the words of his son and thinking that he can disobey his coach and make his son proud. Their coach was very strict and if you don’t follow his instructions, he will put you to bench for a long very time or even ask the owner of their team for a player’s suspension. James is thinking twice about the consequences that he will face if he didn’t follow his coach. The game resumed and James got the ball from the inbound, his coach was yelling to pass it to their star player but James is still holding the ball. He hears his son once again “Dad go for the win, shoot it for me”. These words have triggered into James’ head and give him the courage to take the shot. James made a drive to the basket and before the buzzer sounds he released the ball with a layup. James made the basket and his whole team celebrates like they’ve won a championship. The first person that James looks up was his son, he saw it very happy and celebrating with the crowd. James couldn’t believe that he made the shot, this is the first time that this happened in his career.  Because he wants to make his son so proud, James was able to beat his fear of missing the shot and go for the win. In life no matter what the situation is or what the outcome will be you can make decisions that can make you shine or put you down. It is your choice if you want to take the risk or do nothing at all. We as individuals can also shine like others and own the moment of victory.

The Coward Policeman

There was a police officer who is always hiding when his department has an entrapment operation, he always make sure that he was the last man who will enter the area of entrapment. Many years have passed and this coward policeman never changed, he was even promoted to a higher rank because his father was a general. One night when he was sleeping peacefully with this wife and kids, a group of robbers invade their house, his wife told him that there might be someone who enters their house. He knew this also but he pretends that I was just a cat or something. Tomorrow morning they were shocked because almost all of their things were taken away by the robbers. His wife and kids cry because all of their important things were taken away. The policeman made an excuse again and tells his wife and kids that he thought that it was just a cat. In life if you never face your fear, it will haunt you forever and make you look like a stupid and regretful person.

Don't Push Everyone To Be Like You

When I was on my late twenties I also have low self esteem, very pessimistic and I feel like my life will be miserable forever. Things have changed when I start to read books of motivation, inspirational quotes and inspiring stories. I slowly begin to feel confident little by little and it grew up unexpectedly. I still feel anxiety and uncomfortable sometimes but the great thing is I always choose to fight these feelings whenever it comes. I may now say that I am a confident person, always believing, loves challenges and will never quit to a specific goal. Because of this great change in my life I decided to share to everyone what changes my life and I want to motivate hopeless people. My only biggest mistake as a motivator is when I see someone who is feeling down and has a very low self esteem I immediately try to motivate him and tell the things that he should do. I feel like I can change someone’s life immediately when I tell him the things that he must believe and should do. I never realize that I am only making the situation worse. Everytime I do this to a person whom I feel needs motivation I only end up arguing with that person. Because of this I decided not to motivate anybody unless he/she is asking for my advice. I now understand that we really cannot push anybody to copy what we are doing because each one of us has different feelings and way of thinking. The best thing to do is wait until somebody reaches you and ask for an advice. In life no matter how hard we explain situations to a down person, we will never be heard unless that person is ready to change and ready to get motivated.

Be Thankful For Your Problems

No matter how rich we are or how rich we can be, problems will never vanished into our life. If you think having enough money will make all your problems disappear…You better think again… Why do rich people got unexplainable diseases? Because that is the only problem that they can have aside from death. If you think that being popular will solve all your burdens in life…You better think again… One big example are celebrities. Look at them, one mistake and their reputation are killed. Being involved in senseless paparazzi, immoral scandals and false accusations isn’t nice. This is the reality no matter how big we’ve become or how high we soar problems will never leave our life. We should be thankful if we have problems because it is a sign that we are living because the only living creatures that has no problems are no longer living, they are the dead. Be scared if you can’t think of any problem in your life because you will be the one who will create it for yourself just like big celebrities who are shop lifting, making public scandals and engaging in drug addiction. The biggest reason why they do this is because they are so bored in their lives because they can get what they want so they start to seek for new adventures and they end up destroying their selves. Problems are not problems if we divert our perceptions into a different approach. We can still be happy if we have the biggest problem in the world, it is just a matter of mastering how to handle it and besides the bigger problems you have the stronger you will become so cheer up we only have one life so roll the dice!

Every Little Pieces Counts

I came up with a very effective solution that I think every big man in any kind of industry knows already. Last month I set a goal to myself of earning a certain amount which I think and feel I can really achieve. I don’t know if over confidence, laziness or being busy in other activities causes me to fail. All I know is I didn’t give my best and I didn’t want to do the little things that if I put together will lead me to success. I was very impatient that I am not taking projects that earn little money. I am always searching for big projects and it is not coming. I’ve wasted a lot of opportunities that can help me to reach my goal. At the end of the month, I came up with the conclusion that if I take those little projects and total them up maybe I have reach my goal. But that is ok the greatest thing here is I have learned a lesson. A lot of people want to become huge in a very short period of time and they end up losing and it is sad to say I become one of them. Now I know why famous painters are perfectionist, even the tiniest detail is important to them because it will separate them from other painters. Now I know why Chinese businessmen are so crazy for little profits because at the end of the day when they add all those little profits it will become big. Now I know why technology is not stopping because there is an inventor there trying to improve our technology even in the smallest way. Now I know why big time entrepreneurs are grinding every night just to find a new money making techniques because that separates them from small time entrepreneurs. Almost all of us are dreaming of having this and having that but is not decisive of taking it step by step. We immediately want a huge step and grab the life that we are dreaming of but are not willing to give up something to have everything. Every little pieces counts because without those little things there can be no big things.

Music really can motivate everyone. A song can have fantastic guitar riffs, awesome bass lines or powerful drums that can fire up our feelings and bring us to a higher level of our selves. For me the lyrics are still the main ingredient of a song. Lyrics are very powerful and it plays with our imagination once we listen attentively and become interested with its meaning. Pressure Will Determine How Good You Are

Are you feeling pressure? Are you feeling the heat? Don’t be scared because it was just a test. Pressure is there for reality check. Who handles pressure very well are the ones who are on top. Those who are afraid of pressure have a mediocre life. Big names have experienced a lot of pressure in their life and they know how to handle it, when pressure arises they stay calm because they know that they can get past through it. Big challenges in life bring a lot of pressure and also offers big rewards if we are able to handle it. A lot of people chooses less pressure situations because they are satisfied being small and they are not prepare to shine which is very sad because they are not living their life to the fullest, they are not testing their capabilities. If you really wanted to become strong choose situations that are very risky and the rate of failure is very high. This will develop you into a very strong person and the rewards that you can get are unthinkable.

Talk Is Cheap

Words can easily deceive someone especially when it sounds so good and if it can create beautiful images into a listener’s mind. There are two kinds of human beings in the world, one who talks a lot and one who keeps his mouth shut at times. Based on my observation 85 percent of people who talks a lot cannot prove himself or cannot back his own words. The reason behind this is because they talk a lot and all of their energies are focused on what they say and not on what they do. A lot of athletes especially boxers and MMA fighters are very good in trash talking before the fight but when the fight is taking place all of their words are not shown in their actions. Sometimes it is better to be humble and shut your mouth so that you will get fewer expectations. Talking too much but not proving it will give you a mark of a liar and a show off person, it is ok if you can prove your words with your actions but if not, you will just only look like a fool and a cocky person without proving something.

Jerry was a scholar in an exclusive school. He got his scholarship because he was smart and a hardworking student. It is his final year in high school and he really wanted to become a valedictorian so that he will have higher chances of getting another scholarship into the best Universities in their place. Jerry came from a poor family, his parents were divorced when he was at the age of two and his mother was the one who’s taking care of him together with his two brothers. He wanted to finish his studies so bad so that he can make his mother stop from working. Their finals have finally arrived and Jerry was so confident that he can get high grades from their final exams. Jerry was taking the last 19 items on his last exam when his pen finally ran out of ink. The rules on taking exams were very strict and they are not allowed to borrow anything from their classmates or teachers, if anyone was caught doing this it will be automatically a failing mark. There are only 30 minutes left and Jerry knew that those 19 items will make a big difference in his score. Jerry was becoming desperate no matter what he do to his pen it cannot write even a single word anymore because it was completely dry. 20 minutes left and Jerry finally come up with a solution, he uses the safety pin on his ID to prick his fingers and then dip his pen into the blood and then answer the remaining 19 items. There were no rules on what color of ink to be use in taking exams so Jerry was very happy. When the results of the exams was finally given Jerry almost got all the subjects perfect, he was so very happy because his grades was fair enough to make him the valedictorian of their batch. While his teacher was distributing their exams, she asked Jerry why is it that the remaining 19 items in one of his exams were in different color. Jerry answered with a smile and say “Ma’am it is a product of blood, sweat and tears”.
