Moving Is Better Than Resting

There were times when all we want when we feel uncertainty because of problems is to rest or to find a stress reliever. I find it enjoyable at first but when the problem appears again the stress becomes bigger and looks impossible to solve. Majority of us when faced with big challenges tends to stop or change direction for a while because we cannot stand the hardship anymore. A great example is when a student feels so tired of reviewing his subjects for the final exam, just to reward himself because of the little effort that he did, he chooses to stop for a while and watch TV. After a few minutes of watching, he cannot leave the television anymore and choose to continue his review tomorrow. Few hours before the exam he decided to continue reviewing but cannot concentrate anymore because of the noise in his surroundings and the nervousness that he feels. This is more stressing isn’t it? I am not saying that we should not take rest but what I am trying to explain is never stop until the job is done or if you feel that you can push a little bit then do it. Just always remember that action builds confidence and inaction builds doubts and fears. Yes, stopping and diverting the stress into something else will relieve you for a while but when you look at the bigger picture, it will make you suffer even more.
